Reading "Biag ni Lam-ang" has deepened my understanding of Filipino culture and identity by showing me how much importance Filipinos place on heroism, family, and the natural world. The epic highlights the strong values of bravery and loyalty that many Filipinos hold dear. It also reflects the Filipino belief in the supernatural and the connection to our roots, reminding us of how deeply we are tied to our ancestors’ traditions. This epic has made me appreciate more the rich history of our country and the stories that have shaped who we are as Filipinos. Through Lam-ang’s adventures, I now better understand the Filipino spirit and resilience, which are passed down through generations and still remain relevant today.
